The My Account section is your central location for all of your information. In My Account, you can check your Web Queries, have access to our advanced Shopping Tools, and set up Default Shipping Information to speed up the Checkout Process.

Web Queries

Invoices is where you can view all of your Invoices from Midland Scientific Inc. You can search for a particular Invoice by either an Invoice Number or a PO Number.

Past Purchases is where you can view all of your Past Purchases from Midland Scientific Inc. You can search for a particular Past Purchase by either an Invoice Number or an Item Code.

Open Orders is where you can view all of your Open Orders from Midland Scientific Inc. You can search for a particular Open Order by either an Order Number or a PO Number.

Open Quotes is where you can view all of your Open Quotes from Midland Scientific Inc. You can search for a particular Open Quote by either an Order Number or a PO Number.

Open A/R is where you can view all of your Open Accounts Receivable from Midland Scientific Inc.

Shopping Tools

My Shopping Lists is designed for you to add items that your frequently purchase to a shopping list. Items saved in a shopping list can then be added to your cart without you having to search the site for that item. For more information on this feature, click here

Quick Order Pad allows you to add an items to your shopping cart and then checkout. Using the Quick Order Pad is easy, simply enter the Item Code and Quantity for the item that you want to purchase click the GO button and you will be taken to the Checkout Screen. Search Tips

With thousands of items available on midlansci.com, and new products constantly being added, finding the product you're looking for may seem a bit daunting. To find exactly what you need, as quickly as possible, we provide three methods to search our store: A Store Directory, a Vendor Search, and an Advanced Search.

Store Directory Search

To make things easy, we've grouped out products into X categories:
List Categories Here........ These categories are located on the left side of every page in the site, with exception to the Welcome, Logon, and Order Confirmation screens.

When you select one of the product categories, that categories contents are displayed along the left-hand side column and in the middle of the screen. This category drill-down continues until you reach the lowest level of a category where a products item code will be displayed.

Advanced Search

If you are unsure what category a product you are looking for is contained, try our Advanced Product Search. Located at the top of every page, the Advanced Product Search allows you to specify your criteria for multiple fields at one time. Simply decide what's important to you for each option, and then scan the entire midlandsci.com inventory for items that match.

Every now and then you may get a search that returns No Results. If you see this, please check to make sure that you spelled the keyword correctly. Although we will attempt to return the information that you want, misspelled words will not generally match anything in our database.

My Shopping Lists

Using our advanced shopping tool My Shopping Lists, will allow you to designate items that you would like to purchase, but you are not prepared to do so at that moment. While shopping on midlandsci.com, you can add items to My Shopping Lists instead of adding them to your Shopping Cart. The items you add to My Shopping Cart will remain there until you decide to add them to your Shopping Cart, or until you remove the item from your list.

Adding an Item to My Shopping Lists

When shopping midlandsci.com, click Add Quantities To List on the Search Results screen. You can also add an item to your shopping list from your Shopping Cart. When you are viewing the contents of your Shopping Cart, click Add To List next to each item in your Shopping Cart that you want to add to My Shopping Lists and click Update Shopping Cart.

Purchasing an Item from My Shopping Lists

To purchase a saved item from My Shopping Lists, click the Add To Cart button that appears next to each item saved on your Shopping List. Your selection will move to the Shopping Cart and you are ready to Checkout. To purchase the entire saved Shopping List, click the Add List To Cart button.

Quick Order Pad

To place an order with midlandsci.com using the Quick Order Pad follow these two steps.

Step 1: Enter the Item Code or Customer Part Number for Each Item

The first step in using the Quick Order Pad is to enter the item code or customer part number for each item you want to purchase and then click the Go button.

Step 2: Checkout

The final step in the Quick Order Pad is to Checkout. If any items were not found you will be given the option to retry. When you are finished, click on cart icon at the top of the screen to view your cart.

When you come to the Logon Screen, we will ask you for your: Name, Customer Id, Password, Email Address, and a Password Hint. This information is used to setup your account with midlandsci.com so that you can place orders. During the Checkout Process, we will ask for your: P.O. Number, Name, Email, Shipping Address, and type of Payment. We collect this information to complete your order and to notify you of your order status.

All personal information that you enter on midlandsci.com is protected and used so that we can better serve you. We will not share any personal or identifying information to any third party.

No Minimum Order:

Midland Scientific has no minimum order level.

Payment:

Midland Scientific accepts cash, check, credit card and purchase orders for established accounts.

Placing Orders:

Placing an order is easy and convenient and may be submitted by phone, fax, mail, E-mail or online at www.midlandsci.com. Midland Scientific strives to make ordering as simple as possible. We accept orders the way you want to give them to us. For best order accuracy, please include the catalog number, quantity of each item and an item description. Catalog prices are current at time of printing but are subject to change without notice. Your current pricing will be furnished by your sales representative/customer service representative or via your online account. In addition, price quotes are available by phone, fax or E-mail from your sales representative or customer service representative or via our website. Midland Scientific accepts purchase orders, check, cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars.

Shipping:

Generally your order will be shipped the same day it is received. Your shipping instructions will be followed as closely as possible. However, we reserve the right to change the method for items which, when required by regulations or in our judgment, cannot be shipped by the method you specified. If special needs arise for shipping, please include instructions with your order. Otherwise, the quickest and most cost effective method will be used. Normal shipping terms are FOB shipping point. Any rush or hazardous shipments will incur additional cost.

Acknowledgment of Order:

An order acknowledgement will be issued with each order. Included on the acknowledgement are the items ordered, quantities ordered, disposition (in stock, back ordered or direct shipped from the supplier), and also unit price and extended price. The order acknowledgement may be faxed or E-mailed to you, depending on preference. Midland Scientific reserves the right to substitute equivalent items for orders unless specified by the customer. Ordered items may only be cancelled if the item has not already been shipped, either by the supplier or Midland Scientific. Made-to-Order items may NOT be cancelled.

Returns:

All returns must have prior authorization from our Customer Service Department. The reason for the return, the date of purchase, the purchase order number, and the invoice number must be made known prior to returning merchandise. Items cannot be returned without an issued Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Please call Customer Service to receive a RMA number. RMA number must be included with shipment. All returns are subject to a restocking fee up to 30% depending on supplier policies. Without prior authorization, all shipments for returned items will be refused.

Security

At Midland Scientific, we guarantee the security of your personal information and credit-card detail when you shop with us. We use 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the personal information and credit-card detail you provide during the order process.
