Millipore Sigma LiChroCART® LiChrospher® HPLC Cartridges

Cartridges are filled with reliable, versatile, traditionally produced spherical silica carrier materials

RP-18, RP-18E (Endcapped), RP-8, and RP-8E (Endcapped) cartridges are ideal for reproducible reversed phase separation in chromatography applications including acidic, neutral, and weakly basic compounds. RP-Select B cartridges can be used to provide excellent separations of basic compounds and neutral or acidic substances. Si (silica gel) cartridges are ideal for normal phase HPLC applications. CN (cyano) cartridges are ideal for chromatography applications with complex samples with polar and hydrophobic characteristics. CN can be used as a less polar alternative to Si 60 in normal phase applications or as a less hydrophobic alternative to RP-8 in reversed phase applications.

DIOL cartridges are ideal for use with complex samples with polar and hydrophobic characteristics and for exclusion chromatography applications. DIOL cartridges can be used as a less polar alternative to Si 60 in normal phase applications or as a less hydrophobic alternative (with some limitations) to RP-8 in reversed phase applications. NH2 (amino) cartridges are ideal for reversed phase, straight phase, and ion exchange chromatography applications.

Typical applications include the separation of carbohydrates (mono-, di-, and oligosaccharides) with reversed phase chromatography or the separation of nucleotides with NH2 as a weak anion exchanger. PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) cartridges are highly efficient and selective HPLC cartridges designed for the high resolution separation of 16 PAH according to EPA standards 610 and 550, benzo(e)pyrene, and perylene. WP (Wide Pore) 300 RP-18 cartridges can be used to provide high-resolution separations of peptides, tRNA molecules, and low molecular weight proteins. WP 300 RP-18 cartridges enable the tailing-free separation of basic compounds and provide high recovery rates, especially in the case of highly hydrophobic peptides.

Narrow bore cartridges (2mm and 3mm I.D.) reduce solvent consumption and allow the handling of very small samples while achieving increased sensitivity and resolution.
