Measuring vessel cover with built-in integrated conductometric measuring cell.

General:

• Check the measuring cell for transportation damage immediately upon arrival.

Storage:

• The measuring cell has to be stored in a dry place. It should be thoroughly rinsed with distilled H2O before usage.

Measurement:

• The two metal pins of the conductivity measuring cell must entirely be immersed in the measuring solution during the whole measurement. For this, there should not be more than 20mL of the measuring solution in the measuring vessel. The evaporation loss during the measurement is usually in the range of 5 to 7mL per day and should be compensated by a correspondingly higher volume at the beginning of the measurement or by regular addition of small volumes for very long measurements (> 3 days). Ensure that no air or nitrogen bubbles directly sweep over the electrode during the measurement. Should the situation arise, adjust the PTFE tubing for the gas inlet to the measuring vessel differently.
