Wheaton Potter-Elvehjem Tissue Grinders
All pestles are made of fluoropolymer resin with a 6.4mm (1/4in) diameter stainless steel shaft. Radius at pestle bottom conforms to radius in bottom of grinding chamber. Grinding chamber is made of low extractable borosilicate glass. Chamber clearance is 0.102–0.152mm (0.004–0.006in).
- Grinders are available with smooth pestles or serrated pestles, which disperse homogenate into the mortar cylinder more effectively
- Depth of radial serrations is 0.508–0.635mm (0.020–0.025in)
- Smooth or serrated pestles are available
- Autoclavable and parts are interchangeable
