Waters™ End Connector Kit
The End Connector Kit can be used with Any Waters™ 3.9mm or 4.6mm ID Cartridge. The cartridge and the End Connector Kit are purchased separately. When the performance of the cartridge deteriorates, you just replace the cartridge and reuse the endfittings. Use the catridges as you would any other analytical HPLC columns. Be aware of the flow direction arrow printed on the label of the cartridge. Use a precolumn in-line filter to prevent cartridge filter blockage.
Assembling the Cartridge
- Remove the plastic end caps from the cartridge and save for catridge storage
- Slide a retaining nut onto the cartridge with the open end of the nut toward the end of the cartridge
- Press a c-clip into the groove of the cartridge until it snaps into place
- Place the endfitting onto the cartridge and screw together the retaining nut and endfitting until hand-tight. If the threads on the endfitting are visible, the retaining nut and endfitting are not assembled properly. Unscrew and reassemble.
- Repeat steps 2 through 4 to assemble the other end
