• The FilterMate™ works like a French Coffee press. Simply bring your sample to volume in the digestion cup, insert the filter down into the sample, and remove the detachable plunger. Sample is now ready for analysis or to be capped for storage.
• The SC0408 is our certified PTFE filter to remove large particles. SC0408 FilterMate™ utilizes a pure expanded fiber PTFE filter. This high dirt trapping FilterMate™ is especially suitable for trace level analysis and is supplied with lot certification for trace metals by ICP/MS.

Soil, sludge, wastewater, and challenging samples require filtration prior to analysis. FilterMate™ fits directly in the digestion vessel and is pushed through the liquid being filtered to the bottom of the cup with a detachable plunger. After filtration, the plunger is easily removed and discarded while the filter assembly remains in the bottom of the cup. Finished sample can be capped for storage or poured directly into an autosampler vial.
