BENCH MR9600

SmartReader™ 96 is a welcome addition to laboratories routinely measuring concentration or absorbance in 96 well plates. A stand alone system, the reader features a seven inch color touch screen, multispeed shaker, intuitive software and graphical interface - no computer connections or additional software are needed.

Four popular filters are preinstalled: 405, 450, 492 and 630nm. Twenty six additional filters are available to cover the range from 340 to 750nm. Eight filters can be loaded at one time in the integrated filter wheel and selected during programming. Operation and programming are intuitive and achieved using the touch screen or optional mouse. Menus allow the user to choose the filter, set shaking parameters and enter details of the plate layout and choose details for the reading protocol and data calculations. Immediately after reading a plate, the measured data is available on the screen, as are calculations, curve fitting and data interpretation.

The USB port can be used for firmware updates as well as data transfer and printing.
