EBER E2355.00
Now you can homogenize tissue effortlessly for culture work as well as pathology and biological study. Eberbach’s variable-speed Con-Torque Tissue Homogenizer gives 196 oz-in of continuous torque at all speeds providing continuous, effortless, positive grinding action. Full torque eliminates the possibility of tissue jamming the pestle in the grinding vessel. A totally enclosed, fan-cooled 1/9 hp motor drives the Con-Torque power unit through a continuously variable transmission. Speeds from 0 to 400 rpm are selected by a lockable lever. Sintered bronze motor bearings require no lubrication. A 3/8” output shaft provides rotation for the chuck through a flexible coupling allowing operation at various angles which reduces breakage of glassware. A knurled hand-wheel offers a counter support grip when tightening the chuck which accepts shafts up to 1/2” in diameter. A 3/8” fixed coupling is included for techniques requiring application of side pressure to pestle and mortar. An integral clamp fits on support rods up to 3/4” in diameter. Eberbach’s Tissue Homogenizer comes complete with a Con-Torque power unit, chucking device, and universal support stand, but without mortar or pestle.
