Kimble® Sand Bath Heating Mantle
This mantle is electrically heated and utilizes commercially available sand (16 to 30 mesh).
- Recommended for performing the experiments in the Williamson textbook
- Maximum temperature 500°C
- Designed for 100mL flask
- Supplied with a one-meter, 3-wire cord and a standard U.S. plug
- Must be operated with an input controller such as 720600-0115
- Excellent for micro scale work with 5mL or smaller vessel
- Operate sand bath at 40% power only for continuous operation; operate at maximum power for no more than 10 minutes
- Aluminum bottom permits magnetic stirring
