BD Difco™ Salmonella O Antigen and Antisera Groups
BD Difco™ QC Antigens Salmonella O and BD Difco QC Antigen Salmonella Vi are used in the quality control testing of BD Difco Salmonella O Antisera and BD Difco Salmonella Vi Antiserum by slide agglutination tests. These antigens are chemically stabilized and inactivated suspensions of known strains of the genus Salmonella designed for use as homologous controls for testing the efficacy of the Salmonella typing antisera employed in routine laboratory procedures.
