Millipore Sigma® Fast Garnet GBC sulfate salt

Fast Garnet GBC is a diazonium dye and is mainly required in azo-dye methods. In alkaline phosphatase staining, it reacts with α-naphthol to give a red insoluble azo dye at the site of enzyme activity. Fast Garnet GBC sulfate salt has been used for the staining of aspartate aminotransferase activity. It has been used for measuring of the non-specific esterase activity.
